Modern Day Der Stürmer Spouts More Islamophobia

December 29, 2006

Osama Saeed covers the more disgusting and utterly stupid coverage on the Muslims from the modern day version of Der Stürmer (Nazi Newspaper). Have a read on his blog at http://osama.typepad.com  or scroll below:

Der Stürmer (“The Stormer”) was a weekly Nazi newspaper published by Julius Streicher from 1923 to the end of World War II in 1945, with brief suspensions in circulation due to legal difficulties. It was a significant part of the Nazi propaganda machinery and was vehemently anti-Semitic. Unlike the Völkischer Beobachter, the official party paper which gave itself an outwardly serious appearance, the tabloid-style Der Stürmer often ran obscene materials such as anti-Semitic caricatures and propaganda like accusations of blood libel. Along with this it published pornography, anti-Catholic, anti-capitalist and anti-“reactionary” propaganda too, in order to appeal to a larger public of readers, especially among the lower class.

After the war, Streicher was tried at the Nuremberg trials for crimes against humanity for his role in inciting Germans to exterminate Jews. His publishing activities were a major part of the evidence presented against him.

Osama’s response:

The Sun have today uncovered instances where Muslims visiting people in hospital would not wash their hands with the gel provided on entry because it contains alcohol.

It would have been a good idea for the Sun to actually ask some Islamic scholars for some rulings on the matter. It is forbidden to consume alcohol, but there is no such prohibition on its external use.

This goes back to reasoning. Any course of action which would lead to the mind being impaired in intoxication is considered haraam. This is why drinking alcoholic beverages is prohibited, but even if you had to consume the soap, it would leave you ill yes, drunk no.

Normally you would take what the Sun says with a pinch of salt. However, I can believe this one as this kind of petty misguided scrupulousness is present amongst all too many Muslims. Ignorance would be putting it mildly when we come to an issue where rather that look at what their faith actually says, they would risk spreading vicious hospital bugs.

Islam favours community benefit, making this an especially sad story. For more info, see this fatwa about the external use of perfumes (not even something with a health benefit) containing alcohol.

Harry’s Place & Pickled Politics Breeding Ground for…

December 25, 2006

Want further proof that Harry’s Place & Pickled Politics is a breeding ground for far right fascists? This comment was left over a few days back I believe by Zin Zin.

Mohammed the warmonger Peace be upon him and they say muslims don’t understand irony.

Tin Tin’s Crying

December 21, 2006

A post from Tin Tin on the fascist supporting Harry’s Place:

Utbag has banned me from his site. The happiest day of my life.

He hasn’t heard of Peter Tatchell. Amazing when you consider that this the guy who attempted to arrest Mugabe.

Now, I have not banned you from my blog, I just don’t give any space to Nazi like fascists who come here and spread more hatred. Go join the BNP they will welcome you with open arms. I heard they are recruiting Pro-Israeli’s and Zionists.

The Daily Der Stürmer aka The Mail

December 21, 2006

First some background information for you:

Der Stürmer (“The Stormer”) was a weekly Nazi newspaper published by Julius Streicher from 1923 to the end of World War II in 1945, with a brief suspension in circulation during the 1936 Berlin Olympics.

After the war, Streicher was tried at the Nuremberg trials for crimes against humanity, for his role in inciting Germans to exterminate Jews through his publishing activities which was presented as evidence leading to his conviction and execution.

The Mail can’t even do their annual story about the most popular baby names without giving it an Islamophobic anti-”immigrant” twist:

“The boy’s name Mohammed has shot up the popularity charts in a new sign of the deepening influence of Islam on life in Britain…. The rise of Mohammed as a name is an indicator of growing numbers of Muslims in British society in recent years…. Numbers have been growing as a result of continued immigration from Pakistan and Bangladesh as well as waves of new arrivals from Islamic countries or countries with high Muslim populations in the Middle East and Africa, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia and Nigeria. Recent immigrants have swelled the Muslim population of around 1.6 million counted by the last national census in 2001.” from http://www.islamophobia-watch.com

Funny Sunny Strikes Again

December 21, 2006

Sunny writes into Salma Yaqoon on the issue of HMD, which can be read here

Funny that neither Salma nor Inayat (no surprise there) want to mention the massacre and genocide of Bengalis in 1971 by Pakistani soldiers which led them to break away from “East Pakistan” and form their own country Bangladesh. One of the biggest atrocities of the 20th century and the MCB avoids it completely.

and isn’t it funny how Sunny never comes round to attack the anti-Semitic card being played on Pro-Palestinian campaigners? And it’s damn funny it’s coming from Sunny who can’t even tried to show his utter disgust at Israel’s attacks on the Lebanese people who decided to turn off the comments because he was afraid of being tarnished as a Israel basher and an Anti-Semitic.

LCM – 4 Weeks On – No Comment

December 19, 2006

This is what I have written on LCM Board.  I can’t believe they still have not published my post.

Why have you still not published my comments 5 weeks on?

You call yourself accountable leaders? If this is what you call accountability, then you have no right whatsoever to lead any Muslim if you are willing to be held to account for what you say or do while representing the Muslim Community.

Another bid to break Hamas

December 18, 2006

Azzam Tamimi writes in CommentisFree:

As Hamas and Fatah supporters took to the streets to express their protest or support in response to Mahmoud Abbas’s decision to call for early presidential elections and battled each other with stones and bullets, congratulatory gestures of support landed at Abbas’s front door from the three major international players that have together designed and imposed the sanctions regime against the Palestinians. The White House, Tony Blair and the Israeli government thought Abbas had done the right thing and urged the world community to support him in his last bid to rid them of a Hamas-led government. It is these three parties, and to a lesser extent those that complied with their instructions, that carry the burden of any Palestinian blood that is being shed with Palestinian hands as a result of the current crisis.

The last resort tactic by Abbas illustrates the depth of the predicament in which he, his clique of advisers (or more accurately minders) and his international sponsors find themselves. Despite many months of sanctions, Hamas managed quite well, given the circumstances in which it has been left to administer Palestinian affairs. The tight grip of the “international community” could not prevent the movement from bringing in enough money to pay civil servants several advance payments and to keep the basic health and educational services running. The hardship caused by the sanctions did little to convince the Palestinians that Hamas was responsible; the majority of the victims of the regime of collective punishment did not blame Hamas, which to them was equally a victim. Polls conducted by local and international bodies inside the West Bank and Gaza kept pointing to a rise in the popularity of Hamas countered by an erosion of respect for Fatah and its beleaguered leadership.

In other words the sanctions, which had been the international community’s prize awarded to the losers of the January 25 2006 democratic elections, failed to deliver. Without the sanctions Abbas and his “minders” would have been totally disarmed; they would have had nothing to justify their insistence upon the need for a Palestinian government that should meet the demands of the international community.

The very successful tour of a number of countries in the Middle East by the Palestinian prime minister, Ismail Haniyeh, seemed to threaten the US-led sanctions regime. An increasing number of countries, Arab and non-Arab and Islamic and non-Islamic, have shown signs of defiance and determination to break the embargo. Some, like Qatar, Iran, Bahrain and Sudan, have openly made commitments to pay the salaries of Palestinian employees in the health and education sectors and to rebuild the houses and government buildings destroyed by the Israelis.

Haniyeh arrived back with a considerable amount of cash and the bulk of the financial commitment promised by the countries he visited was to follow. But his return was deliberately pre-empted by a renewed wave of lawlessness that claimed the lives of three innocent children and a judge. As he crossed the border from Egypt into Gaza shots were fired at him, killing his bodyguard and wounding his son and his political adviser. Instead of a celebratory triumphal climate, storms of factional tension blew over the strip instilling fear and anxiety in the minds of most of its residents.

What does the world community think it can achieve from all of this? A resolution of the conflict, as Blair so naively believes? A resumption of negotiations with a Palestinian party on Israeli terms as Olmert so arrogantly expects? An end to all Palestinian struggles for justice as the neocon-led US administration so ignorantly hopes? Or an end to rivalry by an Islamic resistance movement that is loyal to the Palestinian dream as Abbas and his minders wish?

The only thing that is likely to come out of all the intrigues is a civil war that will rage for a while. But eventually, Israel will pay and so will those who provide it with unconditional support. One of the most immediate losers, though, will be Tony Blair whose endeavour to resume the political process between the Palestinian and the Israelis before he retires from politics has been dealt a fatal blow by virtue of his support for Abbas’s intended coup against the democratically elected government of the Palestinians.

There is only one way out of the current crisis, and that is for the sanctions to be immediately lifted. The immediate consequence of that would be the formation of a national unity government without dictation from any outside power. In the absence of blackmail, Hamas, Fatah and all the other Palestinian factions and political groups within Palestine will meet and agree on the terms and conditions of their unity government whose main functions would be to serve the Palestinians and not the Israelis.

As for the Israelis, their only guarantee of peace and security would be to recognise the legitimate rights of the Palestinians and enter with their elected representatives into negotiations for a long-term truce.

Neo-Nazi-Zionists New Tactic

December 10, 2006

lol, check this out.

It may also be time for a change in tactic. It is all very well sharing ideas amongst ourselves but we are rather preaching to the converted. What may be more effective would be to preach to those who oppose us.

It is my recommendation that you spend time leaving comments on those websites of those who encourage extremism. Let them know the truth about what is really happening in the world and do your best to counter their lies. Places like MPACUK are full of half-truths and complete fabrications which should be exposed. Of course they will not allow you to have a free say – they could not allow that – but flooding their servers with hundreds of comments exposing their lies and countering their propaganda would do more than this site could ever do.

Please take on this new tactic and spread it around to your friends. Good Luck.

“Extremism”? What exactly is extremism? Showing your disgust at the Neo-Nazi-Scums splatering the brains of children on the bed room walls?

Typical Zio-Nazi tactic when the image of Israel is being exposed they resort to attacking their servers with comments.

What makes Bratt a Zionist?

December 9, 2006

What make’s brett (or is it Bratt) from the fascist Hurry’s Place a Zionist? He says it’s the two state solution.

Ken Livingstone says he supports a two-state solution for Israel and Palestine. An equitable, viable two-state solution. Something else I agree with.

I guess in some people’s book, that would make him a “Zionist”. Apparently it made me one.

No, you Neo-Nazi-Zionist Scumbag, it’s your defense of Israel’s policies of splattering the brains of children on the bed room walls which makes you a fucking Zionist.

Being a member of a Pro-War Blog which called for the destruction of Iraq for Israel’s sake.

Supporting Israel’s brutal occupation, supporting the Lebanon war etc etc.

New Generation Network & Secularism

December 8, 2006

Since the so called New Generation Network (a front group for the secularisation of the Muslim Communities), I’ve been researching on what Islam’s position is on it . Is there anything such as a “Secular Muslim”

secular spirit or tendency, esp. a system of political or social philosophy that rejects all forms of religious faith and worship.

the view that public education and other matters of civil policy should be conducted without the introduction of a religious element.

On this topic I’ve bought a book called The Crisis of the Arab Intellectual and basically the secularist accuses those who speak in the name of Islam of having ulterior motives. In the book a leading secularists describes religious currents in society in the following way:

“Generally, the people behind such religious movements are seeking political power or have their own personal agendas or are ethnically motivated. They seek to realize their goals under the pretence of religion so they can capitalize on the religious sentiments of the people.”

and the first thought that went through my mind was ah Sunny & his secular friends, Sardar Saab, Yasmin Ali-Brown aka the New Generation Network.

Isn’t Islam a way of life? Doesn’t it teach us how to walk, talk, eat and sleep? Are these people suggesting that when I step out of my door I have to leave my way of life at home? Should I hide my beard, because it’s a sign of my faith? Should a Muslim woman leave her hijab at home? Should a Christian women keep her cross under her t-shirt? and what about the sikh and hindu community?

I will be writing more about this as I believe secular fundamentalists/extremists of the likes of Sunny do more harm to the well being of the community, than those who do practice their religion.

Update: I think Secularism can be described as the modern day of Jahililyah.
