I wrote a few weeks ago about MPAC’s campaign to get access for women into the country’s mosques. No one can argue coherently against it. Moaning about MPAC’s tactics will not cut it, especially when the side that wanted to exclude women denied themselves any evidence by demanding that the TV cameras be switched off.

Any theological arguments to justify the status quo are contrived to justify the situation back in Pakistan and other countries which was imported over here. The first generation accepted it, the second though, as with so many things have not.

There is a danger of overstating the impact of mosques opening up will have though. The argument in the film at one point that the outlook of the institutions would be more integrated and outward looking with women being admitted is itself actually a sexist one, as if Muslim men are incapable of running mosques.

The problem is that the men in charge of mosques are people who were very good at building them, but extremely poor at community relations. This task would be best carried out by the second generation, but it is not only young Muslim women who are excluded from the levers of power on mosque committees – it is young Muslim men too. Remember half of all Muslims are under 25 – this is nowhere near reflected on these bodies, where you would struggle normally to find anyone under the age of 40.

David Hirsh: Let’s “Prove” Israel Isn’t a Racist/Nazi State

This is the most amusing post that I have seen which tries it’s best to show Israel in the best light. But, I’m actually cracking up here that the individual who tries his best to “prove” Israel is not a racist state is an Academic from Goldsmiths College, University of London. None other than David Hirsh “oi punk, your anti-Semitic”. Is this the best the Zionists can bring out?

Here’s his bio:

David Hirsh, the Editor of Engage, is a lecturer in sociology at Goldsmiths College, University of London.  He wrote Law against Genocide: Cosmopolitan Trials (GlassHouse 2004), which won the BSA Philip Abrams Prize for the best first book in sociology in 2004.  David is currently working on antisemitism and anti-Zionism; nationalism and cosmopolitanism; cosmopolitan and international law; human rights; ethnic cleansing and genocide; Israel/Palestine and fundamentalism.  David played a leading role in the campaign to reverse the AUT boycott of Israeli universities.

Here what David Hirsh “oi punk, your Anti-Semitic” says which proves Israel isn’t a racist state:

If Israel is a “Nazi” or “racist” state, then how could it be that someone is charged with incitement by the Jerusalem District Attorney for arguing that Arabs should be expelled from the Occupied Territories and for threatening genocidal violence against them?

MPACUK: Where’s the OUTRAGE?

I’ve been discussing the upcoming Dispatches: Women’s Only Jihad with a few individuals, and I’m shocked at their state of thinking, in this day in age.

I haven’t seen the documentary so I’m not going to touch upon that subject if it’s right or not for them to have allowed themselves to be shot with Channel 4 crew.

Many have claimed that this will shed more bad light on the Muslim Community, it will further stamp the idea of Muslim women are opressed in Islam.

These people are OUTRAGED!!

1. Yet, when a fellow Muslim woman was turned away from a Mosque in the UK because she did not have no rent to pay for her flat (she was a old lady), where exactly was the OUTRAGE?
2. Where was the OUTRAGE, when a Muslim Woman turned to the Mosque for when she had a brick thrown through her window by racist BNP supporters?
3. Where exactly is our OUTRAGE when our Mothers do not have a voice to channel their idea’s?
4. Where is our OUTRAGE when half of our Ummah is shunned away from our knowledge centres?

We, the Muslims have become a bunch of lunatics who don’t like any bad light because of our own damn un-islamic behaviour. If you don’t like such documentaries why allow your Mosque’s to shut out the Muslim Women?

The Muslim Women can change a whole society if they are educated and well treated, and I damn support MPACUK for the Islamic Revivial of bringing back the women into what happens starting with their own organisation.

The Dirty Smear Campaign of David Hirsh Against MPACUK

Well, what do you know. MPACUK have been smeared by the Zionist Smear Site. The accusations are laughable to death (or in Israel’s case, assassination by death). So here is the story:

MPACUK copied and pasted this article by Desert Peace (In the Palestinian Blogroll) in which it compares Jewish Children under the Nazi rule and that of Palestinian Children under ZionNazi’s.

The comparison is also made in a news report that Palestinian children are forced to work, we do know as a matter of fact that Nazi’s also did the same thing with the Jewish Children, as DesertPeace kindly brings to our attention.

The Smear Site saw this and called MPACUK Anti-Semitic while it was done by a Jewish Blogger, and the Smear Site did not even bother to tell it’s readers who the author was. Why didn’t the bother to do this? I guess Muslims are easy to smear nowadays as anti-semitics as jewssansfrontieres states, don’t you think? This anti-Muslim website which smears Muslim organisations who speak out against Israel’s brutal actions on a defenseless people of Palestine and it’s actions on the Lebanese people.

Why are these smear sites stifling legitimate discussions on the actions of Israel? This smear tactic is always employed when they don’t know what to reply with or what to do. Their default mechanism is to smear the opponent. Norman G. Finkelstein Adds:

“Whenever Israel faces a public relations debacle such as the Intifada or international pressure to resolve the Israel-Palestine conflict, American Jewish organizations orchestrate this extravaganza called the ‘new anti-Semitism.’ The purpose is several-fold. First, it is to discredit any charges by claiming the person is an anti-Semite. It’s to turn Jews into the victims, so that the victims are not the Palestinians any longer. From the Smear Site what I would like them to answer is:

1. Why did they not mention that the article in question was written by a Jew from Jerusalem, was published by a Jew?

2. Why did they falsely accuse MPACUK of Anti-Semitism and why not this Jewish Brother as MPACUK calls them.

3. Can a member of the Jewish Community be Anti-Semitic?

Since Mark Elf exposed this, Engaged made a reply and AGAIN Mark exposed them of spreading more lie’s against MPACUK:

I just noticed another thing about Engage’s post falsely accusing MPAC of antisemitism and dishonesty. Yes, Engage accusing people of dishonesty!

Engage wrote:

But MPAC needs to think seriously about antisemitism. Interestingly, in their piece, they have reproduced all the links except for one. The one they don’t reproduce is the link to the Anthony Julius piece on the blood libel. This is the one that they ought to read.

Again this shows the shear racist mentality of David Hirsh. He has been exposed the first time of falsely accusing MPACUK of writing the article and now he accuses them of not publishing a link, while in fact the article in question WAS FROM MARK ELF’S website.

Then Engage falsely accused them of antisemitism for running that post. Then I ran a piece accusing Engage of dishonesty. Then MPAC ran a copy and paste of my post on the whole thing and now Engage, having misrepresented the first piece, are misrepresenting the second piece. They say the only piece that MPAC don’t link to is the stupid irrelevant article by Antony Julius QC on “blood libel.” But the link to that piece is in the article that I linked to when Engage first made their false allegation, that is the article that Engage is complaining about.

This is just utter stupidity and racism from David Hirsh from the Engage website which he part of. Is this how Zionist debate goes by smearing their opponents? People like David Hirsh create tension within the Muslim & Jewish Community for falsely accusing Muslims of Anti-Semitism, but it’s people like Mark Elf and DesertPeace who slap Muslims into reality that not all Jews are Zionists and it’s not the true Jewish people who smear those who speak out against the injustices of the Israel.

NSPCC PR Company: We Will Work Free of Charge With Child Abusers

I’m feeling literally sick after reading that a PR company which made a advert for NSPCC is to do a make-over for Israel’s image “make-over for israel“,

Here are a few quotes:

That last statement sounded a bit like this “child-abusers feel the need to explain themselves, to prove that they are in the right, but this doesn’t always create empathy,” (This statement was edited to get the message across)

First the Israeli’s deny any incident took place, then the BBC somehow gets it’s figures wrong between 2 and 6. Knowing Israel for it’s bombing of USS Liberty:

MPACUK Holocaust Deniers?

I’ve been getting a lot of Monitor emails about MPACUK and I’m really suprised at the extent of Pro-Israeli Blogs popping up attacking MPACUK, with baseless and just outright funny false accusations.

Feels like a war has been launched upon us doesn’t it? Well, we hope that it has finally woken you up to realize that you have just sleep walked into a climate of Islamophobia. This is what exactly happened to the Black Community in the UK years back, and who can forget what happened to the Jewish people at the hands of the Nazi’s? This is exactly how 6 Million Jews were sent to the death camps, because the media created a public enemy. This enemy became the Jewish people, who the media taught were inferior and needed to be subjugated. (actually this reminds me of a few MP’s who are trying to win over votes by attacking the Muslim Community, who said you cannot learn from your History lessons?)

Well, as far as I can say MPACUK aren’t denying the Holocaust or is it just me reading it incorrectly? If they didn’t believe in the tragic events which happened (and are happeing around the world) and denied this why would they be saying this. I have been looking through this topic itself and have come to know that those who are accusing MPACUK of this are the Pro-Israeli Blogs. Which begs the question, are the Pro-Israeli Bloggers just out to smear who they disagree with?

In any case, I fail to see why Melanie Phillips cares so much for the “secular state”; the country she lives in is not a secular state, Israel is not a secular state, while the United States is theoretically a secular state but one in which the influence of religion is very clear. What all these countries are, as far as their own populations are concerned, is free countries. Perhaps she thinks the Israeli police should be arresting men for wearing skullcaps or top hats on the streets of Jerusalem, lest they hasten the end of Israeli democracy and the return of the old Kingdom; perhaps the Americans should round up all the homeschool moms to guard against the return of Puritanism. It is only in the Muslim world that she advocates state harrassment of people practising a country’s main religion, which suggests that she spoke from enmity to Muslims rather than from any enthusiasm for secularism.
